Credits are deducted when the AI service successfully returns a result, before Sprwt turns it into meals, macros or a post. If the returned text could not be interpreted (Error while parsing the response, Error parsing AI response, AI did not return usable macros) the call was still billed, usually at the $0.07 minimum. Simply retry – these errors are rare and the second attempt normally works. If you believe a larger amount was charged in error, contact Sprwt support with the approximate time; superadmins can see the exact call in the AI usage history and add a manual credit adjustment.
