After the initial import, a scheduled background job keeps every connected account up to date. On each run it looks at accounts that are active, have Sync? switched on, are not in an error state and have completed their initial import, then asks Plaid for changes since the last sync:

• New bank transactions are added as unreviewed, uncategorized transactions (skipping any already present).
• Modified transactions (for example a pending charge that posted with a different amount or description) are updated.
• Removed transactions are marked deleted in Sprwt.

The job only runs automatically against Plaid's production environment. Its exact frequency is set by Sprwt's server schedule (not visible in the admin panel), so allow some time for new bank activity to appear. Transactions added by the sync are not auto-categorized; use Re-categorize All to apply your rules.
