The rail shows a percentage and N of M done, counted over the checklist tasks (the same total as the onboarding checklist page), and the note Progress saves automatically – you can leave and come back. Each step shows its own done/total and a tick once every required task is done. Under the current step, each task is a sub-step link with a dot that fills when complete. An optional pill marks tasks that do not count toward completion (Portion Sizes, Suppliers, Sub-recipe Groups, Affiliates); a once you're live pill marks tasks that need a live domain (Sprwt SMS, Sprwt Emails, DNS) and are excluded from the counts. Completion is measured from real data – a task ticks itself when the matching records exist and un-ticks if they are deleted – except the config-only steps, which are marked when you press Save & continue.
