1. The recipient creates or signs in to an account on your site.
2. In the cart's confirmation step, under Add Promo or Giftcard Code, they enter the gift card code in the box (placeholder "Add promo code") and click Apply Code.
3. Sprwt recognises the code as a gift card, records who redeemed it and when, and adds the full face value to the customer's digital wallet balance ("Gift card converted to balance").
4. The balance is then available as payment on this and future orders.

A card can only be redeemed once; re-entering it shows "This Gift Card code was already redeemed.", and a cancelled card shows "This Gift Card code was canceled.". Redemption requires being logged in.

Note (current version): redeeming a card this way (through the cart's promo/gift card box) correctly blocks reuse and credits the wallet, but it does not flip the card's Active/Redeemed status badge in the admin — the card can keep showing as Active in the Giftcards list and on its own detail page header even though it has already been fully used. The detail page's separate Redeemed line (naming who redeemed it and when) does update correctly regardless.
