How does the outbound text (SMS) queue work, and what happens if credits run out?

This automation is what actually drains your outbound text queue (built up by other parts of the app), sending up to 50 messages per run through your text messaging integration. Before sending, it checks your SMS credits balance; if there isn't enough for even one message, it stops and reports "no credits" rather than silently failing. If credits run out partway through a batch, it stops sending the rest of that batch the same way.

Every successful send deducts credits based on how many text segments your provider reports it actually took to deliver — a longer message that splits into more segments costs more credits than a short one, even though both count as one message to the recipient. This rate isn't an editable field anywhere in Client Config; it's an internal system value, so contact support if you believe it's set incorrectly. This automation does nothing at all if your country requires extra business-texting registration and you haven't completed it.
