Under Meal mix per category every meal category has a number box ("How many meals of each type?"). The note explains: "If you'd like your pack combo to be a specific preference, please make the number equal to the total number of meals you entered above. If the customer can select any option leave the section below as is."

• All boxes at 0 → the customer may fill the pack with any meals.
• Numbers entered → the pack is locked to that split (e.g. 2 Breakfast + 8 Entrees for a 10-meal pack). The numbers must add up exactly to Number of Meals; otherwise saving fails with "Number of Meals (10) not equal to the sum of categories you selected (9)".
