How does the customer pay for a proposal?
Once the proposal is Signed and Approved (or Partially Paid / Past Due) the customer clicks Proceed To Checkout. A checkout window shows the Proposal Cart Summary, Select Payment Method (your enabled methods, e.g. card/Stripe), Select Checkout Option (Pay Deposit / Pay Total, only for the first payment when a deposit is allowed), a gift-card/coupon code field, Use Digital Balance (if they have store credit), gratuity buttons (when tips are enabled in Business: Cart), the Terms & Conditions agreement (if Force Agree on cart is on) and the Checkout button.
On success the payment is recorded under the proposal, the customer is redirected to the normal order confirmation page, and the proposal becomes Partially Paid (deposit) or Fully Paid; a fully paid email goes to your kitchen address. If Stripe 3-D Secure is enabled the card may need to be authenticated first. Later payments automatically apply the amount already paid and charge only the balance.
