On a proposal's Visual Builder tab, instead of dragging blocks yourself you can type a plain-language description of the layout you want (e.g. "a clean cover page, then the meals list, then totals and a sign button") and click AI Generate. Sprwt sends your description plus the proposal's real data (customer, meals, expenses, charges, totals) to your configured AI provider, gets back a layout, and drops it onto the canvas as normal editable blocks. Your customer never sees the new layout, and it isn't applied to the live proposal, until you review it and click Save (and Publish, if you want customers to see the visual builder layout instead of the classic proposal view) yourself.

Each generation draws from your Sprwt AI credits; the response shows the dollar cost of that generation and your remaining credit balance. If the AI has no credits, an invalid model configured in Settings, or the provider returns nothing/garbage, you'll see a clear error instead (e.g. "AI provider returned no content. Check your AI configuration..." or "The AI hit its output token cap...ask for a shorter / simpler layout") rather than a broken layout.
