Not directly — redeeming applies the gift card's full value to the customer's account balance, not straight to the sale total. Steps:

1. A customer must already be attached to the order — the redemption fails with an "Invalid User" error if no customer is on the cart, so it can't be done on a Guest Checkout.
2. Choose Redeem Gift Card on the payment screen and enter the gift card code, then confirm.
3. Sprwt validates the code (rejecting it if it's already used or was canceled), marks it used, and credits its full dollar value to that customer's balance.
4. You then turn on the Digital Balance toggle on the Payment Method screen, which draws down what was just credited (plus any balance the customer already had) against the order total.

A gift card can only be redeemed once — after that its code is locked to the customer who redeemed it.
