How does Email Marketing relate to System emails, the Email Log and SMS?
- System emails (Marketing > System emails) are transactional messages Sprwt sends automatically (order confirmations, password recovery, subscription notices). They are separate from marketing campaigns and are not counted against your email plan. Their events, however, are exactly the triggers available to Flows, and a flow only fires if the matching system email is active.
- Email Log (Marketing > Email > Email Log, permission emails logs view) shows individual emails sent by the platform for troubleshooting.
- SMS (Marketing > SMS) is the text-messaging system with its own credits, numbers and templates. Flows can send SMS through the SMS block using those numbers and credits; SMS campaigns in the email wizard are marked Coming soon. The older Sequences entry under Marketing > SMS now opens the same Flows page.
