When meals in the cart use containers with a Slot Size above 1, the cart computes the average slot size of the items and divides each bag's Max Meals by it. For example a bag with Max Meals 10 holds only 6 items whose containers have Slot Size 1.67. This makes large containers consume more bag space, so the customer is charged for the right number of bags.
