• Select A Preset Menu: pick one of your saved preset menus; all its meals are added to the selected date. You get a message like "12 Meals Added Successfully" (or "No Meals Were Added").
• Randomly Generate a Menu: opens the "Automatically Generate a Menu" modal. For each meal category enter how many meals you want; if you have a Diet category group you can switch Search Type to require that meals match any (OR) or every (AND) selected diet category. Click Generate Menu. The system picks random meals per category and adds them. This action costs 0.03 AI credits (the button is blocked with a low-balance modal if your AI balance is below that) and shows "There are no meals with those combination requirements." if a diet-filtered search matches nothing.

Both add meals on top of what is already on the day.
