When a customer sends a gift card set to arrive on a future date, this automation checks continually for gift cards whose delivery date/time has arrived and whose recipient hasn't been emailed yet (and that haven't been cancelled). It emails the recipient with the gift card code, value, and a link to register/redeem it, then marks the card as sent so it isn't delivered twice.
