On a sub-recipe the macro table has an Auto Macros? toggle. When it is on, the inputs are replaced by calculated values: for each ingredient, quantity used x ingredient macro / ingredient base weight, summed across all ingredients, and Sprwt keeps these in sync whenever an ingredient changes. When it is off, you type the totals yourself for one Base Weight of the sub-recipe and they are stored as entered. Running Calculate Macros with AI switches Auto Macros off and fills the inputs with the AI estimate.
