Choose the HTML tag verification method in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, copy only the code value from the meta tag they give you, and paste it into Google Webmaster - Verification Code (Google Webmaster Tools card) or Bing Webmaster - Verification Code (Bing Webmaster Tools card). Sprwt inserts the matching verification meta tag (google-site-verification or msvalidate.01) into the head of your pages; go back to Google/Bing and click Verify.
