Set Catering: Allow Online Ordering on the Order: Catering tab. With Yes (default) the catering ordering page and the current catering menu page are reachable on your site; with No, visitors who open those pages are redirected to the home page, so catering is handled only through proposals your team creates. In the current version this switch lives only on the Configuration page — it is not one of the toggles on the Catering > Settings page.
