How do I set up an abandoned-cart email?
- Make sure the system email Order: Abandoned Cart is active under Marketing > System emails (flows only fire for active events).
- Create a flow with Flow trigger = Order: Abandoned Cart.
- Optionally add a Time Delay (e.g. 1 Hour) so the reminder is not instant.
- Add an Email block, give it a Name and Subject, and click Design email. In the designer add the Trigger: Abandoned Cart module (it is only offered for this trigger) to show the items left in the cart, plus your own text and a Button back to the site. Use Shortkeys to insert the customer's name.
- Optionally add a Conditional (Email was not opened, wait 1 Day) with a second reminder in the No branch.
- Save all blocks and switch the flow On.
