1. On the location's Retail Menu page (or on Stock Management) click Stock Alert on the meal's row.
2. In the Stock alert window ("Email the kitchen when stock for {meal} runs low") turn on Enable stock alert and enter the Alert threshold quantity ("Trigger the alert when stock is at or below this quantity"). The current stock is shown as a pill, and Last alert sent appears once an alert has gone out.
3. Click Save Alert (Stock Alert saved successfully).

The alert is stored per meal and location (one setting per meal at each location, regardless of portion). Superadmins also get a Send test email button. Once the threshold is reached, the meal's name shows a red warning triangle in the Retail Menu and Stock Management tables.
