Open the category's Auto-categorization rules window from the Chart of Accounts, find the rule in the Keyword Rules or Learned Rules table and click the × (Remove rule) button in its row. Confirm the prompt Remove this rule?. The rule is deactivated immediately and no longer used for matching; transactions it already categorized keep their category.
