1. Open the payment from Stripe > Payments and click the red Refund button in the header.
2. In the Refund payment window note the Amount left to refund.
3. Choose the Refund Method: Digital Wallet (credits the customer's Sprwt balance, no fees) or Stripe (returns money to the card; you carry the card fees and it takes 5-7 business days).
4. Choose the Refund Type: Full, or the second option (labeled Partial in the menu, even though it is really a custom amount). Choosing it reveals an Amount field to type the amount you want refunded.
5. If money was previously refunded to the wallet and you now refund to the card, review Amount to remove from user balance so the customer is not refunded twice.
6. Click Refund and confirm ("Are you sure you want to REFUND ALL?" for a full refund, "Are you sure?" for the Partial option). The order is refunded through Sprwt's checkout refund process and the page reloads; the Timeline gains a Refund issued step.

Refunds always go through the linked Sprwt order, so the same refund also appears on the order's page under Orders. Viewing the Payments page needs the Stripe Payments permission; actually submitting the refund needs the Edit Customer Orders permission (the same one Orders uses).
