How do I manually attribute an existing customer to an affiliate?
- Open the affiliate under Affiliate Users and click Assign User in the Attributed Users panel.
- Pick the User.
- Choose the Attribution Start Date: First Registration Date (the customer's sign-up date) or Custom Date (enter MM/DD/YYYY).
- Optionally tick Backfill Commissions ("Will retroactively calculate commissions from the start date for all past orders following the affiliate's commission rules.").
- Click Save.
The customer is attributed with method Manual and the page reloads. Errors such as "Invalid affiliate", "Invalid user" or "Invalid date" are shown in the modal. Assigning a customer who already belongs to another affiliate moves them to this one, overwriting the previous attribution.
