Open the item and click DELETE, then confirm Are you sure you want to delete this expense?. The item is removed immediately and permanently from the Labor & Equipment list. This is riskier than it looks: any proposal or template line that already used that item disappears from that proposal or template entirely — not just from its display, but from its totals — because Sprwt only looks up a saved line together with its expense definition, and a deleted definition means the lookup finds nothing. If you just want to stop offering an item going forward, rename it instead of deleting it (for example adding (retired)) so existing proposals and templates keep showing and totaling it correctly.
