1. Go to Settings > Kitchen Settings > Ingredient Categories (/admin/ingredientscategories) and click Add new.
2. Enter the Name (required). With the Ingredients API module you can also select the matching Ingredient API category.
3. In Category icon, click one of the icons in the picker; the current selection is shown above the grid.
4. Click Save.

The icon is used on the category cards at the top of the Ingredients list (a default leaf icon is used when none is chosen). The list page shows KPI cards (Categories, Ingredients across all categories, API mapped) and a table with ID, Name, Ingredients Counts and the inline-editable Ingredients API mapping.
