In the builder's Current menu card set Text color and Background color. Each picker saves as soon as you change it (no Save button) and applies to the whole navigation for every group, because these are site-wide settings; individual links can still override them through their own Styling section. The same card lets you rename the group with the pencil icon next to its title.
