How do I calculate an ingredient's macros with AI?
- Open a saved ingredient (Ingredients > click the ingredient).
- Make sure Name (or Internal Name), the base quantity and the Unit are set – the estimate is per that base weight.
- In the macros area click Calculate Macros with AI.
- Confirm in the pop-up (Are you sure you want to calculate macros for: , Base Weight: ) with Calculate.
The AI fills every macro field configured on your account, switches Auto Macros off for the ingredient, shows Macros calculated successfully with AI and then saves the ingredient automatically. If the name is empty you get Please enter an ingredient name first; if your account has no macros defined the server replies No active macros configured. Cost: one text call (about $0.07).
