How do I ask customers for a Membership ID when they register?

  1. Go to Client Config > Business: Website.
  2. In Fields to ask on Register tick Membership ID.
  3. To make it compulsory, also tick Membership ID in Fields mandatory on Register.
  4. Save.

The registration form now shows a Membership ID box (with an asterisk when mandatory). If it is mandatory and left blank, registration is refused until it is filled in. The value is saved to the new customer's profile where admins can edit it later.
