On the cart's confirmation step, logged-in customers see the Add Promo or Giftcard Code section with an "Add promo code" box and an Apply Code button (pressing Enter also applies). The same box accepts coupon codes and gift card codes: Sprwt first checks whether the code is a gift card and, if not, treats it as a coupon. A green or red message then explains the result (for example "This coupon is valid however may only apply to certain ordering systems." or "This coupon is not valid").

The section only appears when Show Coupons is set to Yes under Client Config > Business: Cart, and only for logged-in customers — guests do not get the field.
