How do commission steps decide which rate applies to an order?
Steps form a timeline that starts on the date the ordering customer's own account was attributed to an affiliate (registration via the link, or the manual attribution date) — or today's date if that customer has no attribution recorded yet. Each step's Expires After duration is added in sequence: step 1 runs from the start date for its duration, step 2 starts when step 1 ends, and so on. When an order comes in, Sprwt uses the first step whose end date is still in the future and pays that step's commission.
Example: On First 30 Days 20 Percent, Then After 12 Months 10 Percent → orders in the first 30 days pay 20%, orders in the following 12 months pay 10%, and after that no commission is generated. If all steps have expired, the rule is inactive, or the Contract Ending date has passed, no commission is recorded.
