How are Price, Cost and Profit Margin calculated on the Stock Management page?
For a retail location the Price is the meal's normal price (plus the portion's upgrade price for non-default portions), Cost is the production price of the meal or portion, and Profit Margin is Price minus Cost. For a wholesale location, Cost is the average price the wholesaler actually paid for that meal/portion in their wholesale purchases, and Price is the custom Grab&Go price the wholesaler set for the line (if any) or that same purchase price; Profit Margin is the difference. Lines with no purchase history at a wholesale location show 0.
