They use the same writer, but auto-generated posts: are created by the schedule (no author user), get extra SEO metadata (BlogPosting schema, article Open Graph type, large-image Twitter card and a publish date), always receive an AI-generated wide featured image, and skip in-content images in the current version (the Images per Article setting is stored but the run generates only the featured image). They can also copy the design of a template post you choose. Manual posts open in the editor for you to review before anything is public; scheduled posts are published as soon as they are written, so check the History tab and edit them if needed.
