For sub-recipe rows the Ingredient COGS figure adds Cost per hour × Time to prepare to the ingredient price, and the meal's Production Cost is whatever production price the recipe (or the Manual Production Price) holds, which is where labour is normally captured. Raw-ingredient rows show only the supplier COGS. Sub-recipe production prices can be edited inline; a change prompts you to refresh so the meal totals recalculate.
