Partially. The clock ticks every second and the countdowns/urgency colours are recalculated every minute. After every action (Accept, meal tap, Completed, courier request, cancel) the affected sections — summary counts, cards or the Meal status panel — reload in the background.

In the current version there is no automatic polling for new orders: a freshly placed order appears the next time the board is reloaded (a full page refresh, or after any action triggers a reload of the main content). If you rely on the KDS, refresh it periodically or enable the new-order notification sound/popups so staff know when to refresh.
