Yes, a plan has an Auto Select Meals? checkbox ("Automatically select meals for this plan") and an Allow Modify Meals? option ("Allow customers to modify meals in this plan"). When Auto Select Meals is on, the customer's own meal-selection page fills every slot with a random meal from that date's menu as soon as it loads, instead of showing Select buttons — the page treats the menu as pre-selected, and the customer can only change a meal if Allow Modify Meals is also on. This is different from the store-wide Subscriptions Has Meals Not Selected Popup Options = Auto, which only fills whatever slots are still empty when a date's cutoff closes (for any plan, regardless of this checkbox), and from the per-subscription Lock Menu rule, which additionally hides all selection buttons for that customer.
