Partly. When Sprwt turns on the Look for AI assistant browser add-ons running inside signed-in admin pages setting (off by default), every admin page quietly checks – for about 15 seconds after loading – for add-ons that mount their own sidebar or button into the page (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Harpa, Monica, Sider, Merlin, Copilot and similar), for automation drivers (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, headless flags) and, optionally, for specific extension IDs Sprwt lists. Findings are reported once per browser session and recorded as browser_extension attempts. It never blocks or locks – an add-on is not proof of wrongdoing – and Sprwt superadmins are exempt. It cannot see an assistant that draws itself in the browser's own side panel and only reads the page; for that, the Admin activity by account volumes (rows and data leaving the system) are the signal. Password managers and similar benign add-ons are ignored.
