Can I delete a role I no longer use, or duplicate an existing role to quickly build a similar one?
No — there's no delete or duplicate action on Users Roles. You can only create a brand-new role from scratch (Add new) or rename/edit an existing one's permission set. An unused role just stays in the list with a 0 user count; there's no way to remove it.
