In the legacy admin Drawers page, a new drawer can optionally be left without a pickup point (shown as "On Kitchen Location" on the New Drawer form, and "Kitchen Location" in the drawer list) — but drawers opened from inside the POS terminal are always tied to the POS Device you're signed into.
