What do I do if my server usage is hitting capacity?

Since January 2024, we've launched a new feature where you can view your server data and usage pertaining to RAM, Disk Usage, SSD volume, and CPU. At Sprwt, we understand the importance of knowing how you're using your platform and working towards optimal efficiency.

Your Server Status

Data suggests that when a server is reaching 75% - 85% capacity continually that it may be time for an upgrade. If you wish to upgrade your server please note this is a permanent change and is irreversible and the costs to do so are a monthly fee. This fee is charged to you and collected by our hosting providers and include weekly backups.

There are two types of server upgrades, Intel vs AMD. Now there are a lot of differences between the two, of which we are not experts and qualified to define. However, it is more known that AMD servers will help with speed and for Sprwt use-case a preferred option. Intel however has more capabilities and is more used world-wide and therefore has better support. Realistically speaking, these servers are practically the same thing and a mere matter of preference

AMD vs Intel Servers.

If you are interested in upgrading, you will select the plan you want to upgrade to and click the "update" button.

Note: this will cause your server to shut down until the upgrade is complete. This takes on average 10-15 minutes

If you have any more questions regarding your server, its usage, and how upgrading works, please feel free to reach out!
